Well, clearly this is canon.

So… Clark believes in Santa. And that Santa knows his true identity. Is that why the Fortress of Solitude is in the Antarctic? (Or the Arctic, depending on which continuity we’re talking about?) So that he is as far away as Earthly possible from someone who could potentially expose him? (Or close to an ally who could help protect him? What with the army of elves—and all those wonderful toys.)

Unless Clark thinks that Santa would wrap everyone’s presents in lead-lined wrapping paper.
